Jill Crandall (Dennis)

Jill Crandall Mouser Dennis, 67, passed away at her home in Reno Nevada March 12, 2011 after a long and determined battle with cancer.

She was born in American Fork, Utah January 06, 1944 to Merrill G. and Afton Reo (Madge) Yancey Crandall

She attended elementary school in American Fork and later graduated from Orem High School after she and her family moved to Rotary Park in Provo Canyon Utah. She worked for Mountain Bell Telephone in Provo, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco before moving to Northern Nevada where she started her career in the gaming industry at the then famous Harold's Club in Reno. After Harold's closed she remained in the gaming industry working for other properties in the Reno area until her retirement in 2008

She married George Mouser March 15 1966 in Reno, Nevada and they had one Son Warren and were later divorced. She married Don Dennis on April 01, 1984 in Reno Nevada where they continued to live and she cared for him until his passing on September 25, 2001. She enjoyed the location of their home at Twin Lakes Drive and the many projects of remodeling and yard work to keep it comfortable and beautiful. Her many crafts and collections were also a busy and enjoyable part of her life along with the hundreds and hundreds of loving hours she spent creating family history albums and genealogy for all of her immediate and extended families

Jill was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Don, her brothers Byron (Janet) and Gordon Crandall and her half sisters Cora Cooper (George), Larue Thompson (Donald), Hazel Somerhalder (Marvin) and Helen DoMayer (Gene). She is survived by her son Warren Mouser (Jody), Reno Nevada and her brother Ray Crandall (Valora), Springville, Utah and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
