Terry (Terrance) Lee

Terrance "Terry" Chadwick Lee 67 passed away on Tuesday July 19th in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was affectionately known to close friends as "Ira". A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Boulder Utah at the LDS Church.

Terry was born May 5, 1944 in Seattle Washington to Stacey and Twila Grace Loney Lee. He spent most of his youth in Provo Utah and graduated from Orem High School.

Terry served in the United States Navy and later moved to Alaska. He spent his career as an Alaska State Trooper at the Fairbanks International Airport where he also served as a firefighter. In 1995 he retired to Boulder, Utah where he lived next door to his longtime friends Bob Mackey and family. He spent his retirement hunting and fishing, prospecting for gold and building beautiful log furniture for family and friends.

Terry is survived by his step mother Dorothy Lee, sister Kathleen "Kitty" (Johnny) King, step sister Cindy Lee, daughter Shelly (Peter) Hallsten, Sons Karl (Keri) Callison and Kyle Callison, and grandchildren August and Aunders Hallsten, Kelton, Kailee, Dax and Kody Callison and Jacob, Kyler, and Nathan Callison. He was preceded in death by his parents and step brother Chad.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Terry's name be made to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, Salt Lake City, Utah 84108. Online donations can be made at Huntsman Cancer Foundation.org.
