1944-2017

Last Saturday evening, one of God’s special angels returned home...

Janet Long, daughter of James R. and Alta B. Long, was born July 19, 1944 and peacefully passed away on February 18, 2017.

Janet is survived by two of her of her four siblings, Clinton (Kim) Long, of Tucson, Arizona and Joyce (Greg) Sauter of Copperton, Utah and multiple nieces and nephews that simply adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Vaughn D Long and sister, Colleen Strong.

The Family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage Place Assisted Living in Bountiful, Utah, where she spent the last 8 months, for their kind and loving care. A special thank you to a fellow resident, Robert Webster, and niece Wendy Switzer, who works at the facility.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 24th, at 11:00 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street Provo Utah. Janet hated getting dressed up, so to honor her, we ask that all who attend come in casual attire.
