1943–2016

Gloria Stratton, beloved daughter, sister, aunt & friend passed away October 25, 2016 after a valiant 5-year battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to Oliver R and Leath Clark Stratton. She served in the Franco- Belgium Mission 1966-68. Graduated from BYU in 1969 with a degree in Home Economics. Taught at Orem Jr. High. Received a Masters in Library Science from BYU and completed her career as Alpine School District Media Director.

Survived by her brothers: Robert O. Stratton (Andrea); Ken C Stratton (Kris); sister: Cherye Pickering (Floyd); and “adopted” sisters: Diane Chamberlain & Nancy Barton.

Funeral services to be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Sharon Park 3rd Ward Chapel - 225 E 200 N, Orem UT. Visitation 9:00-10:30 AM prior to the funeral. Interment in the Orem Cemetery.
